Project Brief: This project provides the school with a new KS1/3 wing, a new specialist classroom wing (food tech, drama, ICT, sensory rooms) and a major remodelling of the existing buildings to provide library services, a new hydrotherapy pool and an increased capacity hall. The project also includes a stand-alone SMILE centre and a large courtyard sensory garden. The timber frame design is innovative, using glulam beams and modern materials, to give this school a 21st Century building.
