Harvey Grammar School scheme great success
Earlier this year, the new build scheme at Harvey Grammar School, Folkestone was completed ready for the new school year. Recently returning to see how the school have settled into the new classroom spaces, we were delighted to see that the building has been a great success with pupils and staff enjoying the new classroom facilities that the project provided.
The scheme included 12 new classroom spaces, including an IT suite, along with department offices and replaced some of the ageing temporary building stock, which the school had been living with for too long. The works were carried out by local contractor, Jenner, and was designed by OSG Architecture, based near Ashford.
It was great to see the building in action and the school are clearly pleased with the facilities.
“The service provided by Betteridge and Milsom was second to none. They helped us to put together an effective and successful bid for government funding and then oversaw all aspects of the project to its very successful conclusion with our students and staff now benefiting from teaching and learning in a fantastic new £2.4 million building.” (Mr. S. Norman - Headteacher)
