Ash Grove, St Margaret's at Cliffe
The development at St Margaret’s at Cliffe, Kent provided 14 new homes, for both the shared and rented market for English Rural Housing Association. The English Rural Housing Association is one of the leading researchers and developers of affordable rural housing, working with a variety of partners to tackle the housing problems affecting rural communities, and this scheme continued their vision to achieve this.
This particular scheme was designed to incorporate the coastal heritage surrounding the area, and includes natural roof tiles, as well as slates and flintwork to the external walls.
The scheme is a previous winner of the Kent Design & Development Awards, for the Best New Neighbourhood of the Housing building category.
