This scheme is located in the village of Wingham, close to Canterbury. 20nr rented and 5nr shared ownership dwellings. The dwellings were built for rented and shared ownership purposes so that local people from the village could continue living affordably within their community.
There were a number of challenges which Betteridge & Milsom assisted the client with, to ensure that the works were very successful. This included arrangements that had to be made to monitor existing public footpath that crossed and run down the Western boundary of the site, as these had to be kept open during the course of the contract. There was also an archaeological investigation and monitoring required during the course of the works.
