Employer’s Agent

“employer’s agent. n. person nominated by the Employer to have full authority to receive and issue consents, instructions, notices and/or statements under the conditions of a Design and Build contract”

As Employer’s Agents, we take the lead during both pre- and post-contract elements of a scheme. We also arrange, run and minute meetings, instructing the respective Contractor accordingly. For Design and Build projects, our role includes the development of a true and deep understanding of our Client’s objectives and transforming them into “Employer’s Requirements” for contract purposes. In addition to this, we provide advice on implications affecting the site and/or property design, use and cost. Our services within the Employer’s Agent remit extend to having a key role in handover inspections and the subsequent management of defects and rectification periods. In essence, we guide the Client through the complete project – from concept to reality.
