Kent Reliance Building Society moves into their new home in Canterbury, with B&M project managing the fit out and conversion works. The Canterbury branch relocates into the main High Street, situated in the heart of the cathedral city.

Their new branch will offer more space, easier access and more privacy. They will also have more staff on hand to help their customers achieve their savings goals. They are confident that the new branch will be somewhere their customers will find inviting and homely.

Kent Reliance have been providing 150 years of service for the people of Kent, enjoying long-term relationships with their customers. The Kent & Canterbury was first established in 1847, with the society growing across Kent over a number of years. With the KRBS being formed in 1986 they provided a personal banking service to the people of Kent. In 2011 OneSavings Bank was formed, trading as Kent Reliance.

B&M are proud of their part in the scheme, which converted a previously leased retail unit into a new branch location in the centre of Canterbury.

Working alongside the KRBS team, and bringing together the specialist disciplines required by this kind of project, B&M co-ordinated building works, interior fit-out, heritage considerations; along with IT/Data, staff integration and branding requirements.

The branch will now welcome customers in to a friendly banking environment, and will be a great asset to KRBS offering across the county.
